Person Verification
Identity Document Verification
- Identity Document Verification can now be used to prefill forms for Person Match via OCR text extraction
This will significantly enhance match performance and validity.- The Trulioo Platform will also utilize the fuzzy matching capabilities of Identity Document Verification to validate identity tokens, further strengthening identity verification processes.
- Injection attack detection to defend against deepfakes
- Introduced a code challenge or ‘short-lived memory reference’ in the SDK client.
- This enables services to validate the authenticity of each image during verification, ensuring the integrity of the image acquisition process and reducing the risk of tampering and fraud.
Person Match
- New Instant Verification Results feature is now available
- For customer onboarding this will bring faster verification times
- By addressing common pain points like job processing time (JPT) spikes, this feature enables customers to improve performance and receive transaction results more quickly
- New sources in Mexico, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands and Spain
- Enhanced verification rates have already been noted
Business Verification
- The Trulioo Canadian Federal direct connection now includes access to Directors & Officers data from the Canadian Federal Registry
- This enhancement provides clients with deeper, more comprehensive insights, enabling more informed decision-making when conducting business in Canada
- Introduced a GST/HST Registry Verification Source
- This enables customers to verify whether entities charging GST/HST are registered with the CRA
- This ensures the validity of input tax credit claims and adds an essential layer of accuracy to compliance processes
- Improved the People of Significant Control (PSC) object
- Enhances matching capabilities and expands its functionality
- These updates offer greater flexibility and accuracy in managing PSCs, directors, and shareholders
- Intelligent routing has been enabled with Business Verification.
Platform
Workflow Studio
- Updated workflow management processes to ensure greater control and visibility
- Any changes to a workflow require deliberate action before publication
- This will prevent discrepancies between draft and published versions and ensure consistency in the workflow's design
- Information scanned from an identity document via OCR can be used to compare inputs or used for input to Person Match and Person Watchlist
- New direct workflow publishing
- Customers can now publish a workflow directly without needing to navigate to a separate publish page
- Lead verification summary with an email export
- New feature that allowing customers to include a summary of a lead's verification details when exporting data via email
- This provides a quick reference and ensures that all relevant information is easily accessible.
- PSC matching with Business Insights
- A new capability that automatically matches a list of declared Persons with Significant Control (PSCs) against the data returned from the Business Insights service. This ensures greater accuracy and consistency in due diligence efforts.
- New ‘Audit Logs’ feature
- A new feature designed to give customers deeper insights into the journey of each lead as they progress through a workflow
- Customers can now access a comprehensive log of all steps completed by each lead, available at any time
- View detailed information on when (date and time) a lead completed each step, including the node label, ID, and Workflow ID, making it easier to understand connections in complex workflow scenarios
- Customers can track the exact path a lead took, including any instances of backtracking, giving customers a clear view of their journey through the workflow
- See all manual changes made to a lead, complete with the date and time of the change, details of what was changed, and the identity of the person who made the modification
- For existing leads, this information will be displayed if it has already been captured
- New ‘Last Published’ view
- Allows customers to see a workflow exactly as it was when last published, including:
- Workflow Layout: Visualize the structure of a published workflow.
- Node Configurations: Review how each node was set up
- Service Packages: See which packages were selected per service
- Publication Timestamp: Know when the workflow was last published
- Supported Languages: Check the languages included in the current published version
- Previously, unpublished changes could create discrepancies between draft and live workflows
- Allows customers to see a workflow exactly as it was when last published, including:
Trulioo Portal
- New page in the Trulioo Portal for self-serve API credential generation and management
- This feature gives users full control over API key management, saving time
- It also enhances security by enabling the management of frequently expiring credentials, ensuring greater protection for user data
- New report functionality
- Customers will now be able to download timebound reports from the Trulioo Portal to summarize the identity verification process across workflows in their account
